My Story

Do you feel connected to yourself, your relationships, and your life? I’m Courtney, and my work as a therapist focuses on connection: to yourself & everything around you. I bring an experiential element to therapy sessions that focuses on trauma-informed care & nervous system regulation. You can’t only rely on your logical brain to navigate your healing. Utilizing various neuropsychology, EMDR, somatic techniques, narrative therapy, parts work, & Mindfulness-Based techniques, I help bridge the gap between traditional talk therapy & non-traditional therapeutic modalities. . I have knowledge & experience with utilizing holistic energy practices. I’m a laid back, direct, affirming therapist that approaches issues with a realistic & existential lens. As a therapist, I value creating a therapeutic space built on trust, consent, honesty, and adaptability. My top priority is to help you feel as comfortable as possible with your decision to work with me. I approach therapy through the framework of a quote by Carl Jung: Know the theories, master the skills, but also be a human soul sitting with another human soul.

I graduated in 2015 with my Master’s of Science in Counselor Education from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. I have worked with primarily trauma cases over the past 9 years, and it has blossomed into a passion for holding space for people’s unique healing journey.
