My Story
Hi, my name is Bess Ewing, and I am a PLPC (provisionally licensed counselor) in Louisiana. I am a proud dog mom, avid coffee drinker, and significant book nerd. As a former teacher, I have experience working with a variety of ages from ages early adolescents to adulthood (ages 10+) as well as high functioning intellectual disabilities. I enjoy working with adolescents and young adults into adulthood to help them become the best version of themselves through those problematic, scary times and transitions. I approach counseling from a client-centered perspective while also utilizing CBT and ACT. Don’t like traditional talk therapy? Let’s mix it up! I enjoy incorporating art interventions and play interventions when appropriate.
You can even request that I bring my golden retriever, Avery, for pets and snuggles during your sessions! I aim to provide a safe space to explore your past, present, and future in an accepting and nonjudgmental environment on your way to self-discovery. I offer office sessions for all ages and Telehealth sessions for clients 15 years and up. When you’re ready, call us to start your journey today!
Disclaimer* we reserve the right to refuse or terminate animal services for the safety of both the dog and the client at anytime.
