    My Story

My name is Camille, and my journey of working with people started in 2016 when I received my undergraduate degree in Public Relations from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. In the fall of 2018, I was fortunate to begin a new job at Aspire Behavioral Health Center as a therapist working with kiddos on the autism spectrum. I found my passion at Aspire and began pursuing a Master's degree in counseling from Northwestern University in Illinois. In 2021, I received my Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling.

Because of both personal & professional experiences, I have a passion for helping individuals who are seeking help beyond the bounds of traditional therapy. I specialize in providing support for individuals navigating complex trauma, LGBTQIA+ issues, attachment concerns, self-esteem challenges, neurodivergence, somatic embodiment, addiction, and codependency. It is one of my top priorities to create an inclusive space that empowers & celebrates your diverse journey. I am committed to the values of diversity, equity, and social justice for all clients that step into my office. I am an affirming, open-minded, direct, & strengths-based therapist that also uses humor & creative expression to help a client learn, heal, & grow. I am deeply committed to helping a client foster self-discovery through personal narratives. I work to create sessions centered around collaboration, consent, & trust.

In my sessions, I utilize a blend of therapeutic modalities tailored to meet your unique needs. Whether it's through traditional talk therapy, somatic experiencing, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) techniques, mindfulness-based techniques, or structural dissociation techniques, I am dedicated to helping you explore and heal from your experiences. I am also certified as an autism specialist (CAS), equipped to support individuals with neurodivergent experiences.

If you're ready to embark on a journey of self-discovery and healing, I'm here to support you every step of the way. Let's work together to create positive change and cultivate a life of authenticity and fulfillment.
